CABIN 3 - The Eagle’s Landing
Cabin #3 is our largest unit and definitely one of our most popular cabins. It overlooks the main docking area for fishing boats and beach storage for the canoe and kayaks. The slope to the lake is a bit steeper here than at the far end of the resort by the office. However, the area surrounding the cabin is on level ground.
This cabin pays tribute to this great country of ours. The patriotic red, white, and blue color scheme and wall décor grab your attention. The majestic eagle, a symbol of strength, appropriately lends its name to the largest and most spacious of our units. This cabin is the perfect choice for an extended family or larger group. Families who book several cabins often request this cabin as a central place for the group to gather.
The bunk room comfortably sleeps 4-5 people in 2 beds. One bunk consists of a full sized double bed on the bottom and single twin sized bed on the top. The other unit is made up of 2 singles. Both of the other bedrooms have a full sized double bed. The two bedrooms toward the back of the cabin both have good sized closets. The front bedroom across from the bathroom contains a wardrobe and has pegs the length of one entire wall for clothing storage. Ceiling fans circulate the air in 2 of 3 bedrooms. Curtains separate the bedroom areas from the hallway. The bathroom is small but adequate. With a tub/shower combination, you may choose to either shower or take a bath. The large combination kitchen and living area spans across the entire front of the cabin. There are 2 queen sized sofa sleepers in the living area, an overstuffed leather easy chair, and a large dining table. The single wall kitchen with its striking bright red cabinets creates a lasting impression. Floors are tiled in the kitchen and bathroom areas. The remainder of the cabin is carpeted. Watch for the eagle to soar over the bay!
